sweets addiction

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 7:17 am

Talking of me, I hate coffee, simply for its taste is so bitter that it doesn’t agree with me (even if I add some suger or syrop to it) .  Instead of a cup of coffee, I’ve recently drunk some shake, like melt coffee icecream with sweat whip cream on the top of it, that comes to 3.65 bucks each at every starbucks.

Happily, every streets has some branchs of starbucks, the famous coffee stand in southern America(whenever we want, we can get any type, any sides of coffee or beverages you can get with some snacks). I have this beverage twice a week. I love that drink!  Banana flaver and coffee icecream and icy smooth texture is the best conbination ever and awesome!

It is so hard to put how it look like. Anyway, now I can not imagine I take a life without that!

At the same time, my balance in the bank account goes down on ’ easy come, easy go’ basis, as I spend groovy life in Canada like this.

My gosh!

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 3:15 am

Opps! Again!!

I lost my cash card again!! Even in my coutry, I did that couple of times, jezz! whenever I withdraw some amount of money at ATMs, I alway put my card in my pocket as usual. but in this time, I did’t. It seems that  I totally forgot to take my preciousness from the cash machine!

As soon as I found myself that I checked the both sides of pockets, in which no cash card inside, of course, I called costomers representitive for protecting someone from snaching my bucks illigally and it worked! ( that’s a relief)

I hope, never such a thing will happen again!

Long time, No see!

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 5:43 am

Maybe I have not updated my blog a while before. Now I am in Vancouver again, feeling completely relaxzation and visiting some places just for sightseeing either with my friends or by myself. It was so fun to have stayed in Banff, the place exclusively for tourists, not for workers or people living there, it is just because Banff has not so many of places, in which we can either enjoy going shoping or going somewhere by car. That means we can not go somewhere without cars!

However, I like Banff and people in there, for there are many places for weekends activities, like hiking or climbing some mountains, if we can, and also many people in there always are kind to me, saying ‘May I help you or something  I can help you with or anything’ , whenever seems to them that I am in trouble.

In addition to that, I had a good experience as one of bellmen in one of the top lanked hotels in Banff, who always carry customers’ lugguage t thier rooms.  if they request me to do something like having me deliver pissas or sonething to eat(that is called ’room service’) , just I did it. I had a fancy that being a bellman is comfortble and no tough job among every positons. It is true  We can take much more tips from customers than the other positons, but the duty is just long and tough. No fancy at all!

Now I plan to do some volunteering at some school. At the same time, I watch some movies as much as possible in a day. not so easy to get what each character s say in movies, but just I hope I will do it in the last three months.

Bar

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 9:16 pm

There are many bars in Banff, where many people are gathered and enjoy dancing or playing games like billiards, stuffs like that. Yesterday I went to a bar with a few of companion and had a good time there.

I ordered one bottle of bear, which is not strong, and drank it on the chair.  I also enjoyed talking with a man from Ontalio, who is a temporaily worker in Banff during summer season. He is interested in Japan, so we had a discussion about many stuffs like political issues, fashion and all.

If a bar has an atmosphere of peace you visit by chance, it would be a good place for comunication for sure.

Movie

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 6:10 am

What I often do weekend is to watch the movies near the downtown, where there are many restrants and gift shops.

I watched ’Chest of the Dead man’, the second series of ‘Pitates of the Caribbean’. I was interested in the movie, but I think that the film fell short of my expectation. That is not serious and comedic one(I expected that it is more realistic and exciting.)

Anyway, there were many people in row, who disguise Jack Sparrow, the main character and the funny chaptain in the story, and who was yelling something unintelligible (maybe, they speak in French, because there are many French speakers here).

Notebook

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 1:11 am

Today, I went to some drug shop and pick up one notebook, which is supposed to be used for the list of words.

I didn’t buy one, because I thought of many things like the living cost, my English and future. I couldn’t afford it. Having taken a life in Canada for some days makes me feel better  and inmersed in the environment now.

I hope that the notebook will be fulled with many words and pharses when I am back to my country.

Happy Canada Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 2:07 am

In July 1st, there was the event special in Canada, called Canada Day. that is called ‘The commeration of founding of Nation’. In Banff, where I live and work now, there were many events, like the carnival in the street and fire works in midmight and whatever.

People have their own national frags of Canada, which flapped in the air. That was so splendid.

Washroom

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 6:37 am

I want to go to the washroom, whenever I drink something cold to drink, especially a bottl e of coffee. However, there is one serious problem; I can rarely find one of public toilets  in the towntown in Vancouver!

In Japan, if you want to pee, you can use the toilet in some convenience stores, right? But, in Canada you can't! because any convenience stores have no public lavatories at all! and even if one shop has its own toilet, there always be the wall paper, which says "No public washroom! That's a big problem for me. Currently I can use the public washrooms either the public library or SIN CLAIR center in the downtown, but I'll go to Banff in a few days.

I should find some of the washrooms, anyway.

FIFA World Cup is popular in Canada?

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 9:50 pm

The world cup was held in Germany in this month. However, I don't see any devoted fans of some countries, who singing their anthems or watching the games on the road in Vanconver, as people in Japan do.

Come to think of it, commercials and News programs don't take up the world cup games all that. I have heard that people in U.S and Canada has no so much interest in Soccer games, because they are not exciting.

According to a news paper, the reason is that if they go and come back during the games, they can not miss the goal scene. It's very simple and satisfactory.

Instead of that, hockey is very popular among Canadian. Canada is known for the cradle of hockey and the sports have a high polularity among even young people now. Besides, if they withdraw their gaze, they may miss the goal scene!

which sports is your favoriate, hockey or soccer?

Decayed tooth

Filed under: Uncategorized — tetsuo @ 6:24 am

If you have a decayed tooth and it should be pulled out at the dentist's in foreign countries, that's so bad.

The fee is much higher than we expected! I have heard it costs 500$ per one tooth. With some life insurances, they can not compensate with the doctors fees, because decayed tooth itself is not considered as diseases maybe.

I should take care of my teeth and decide to both eat no snacks and drink no juice before I go to bed. Never!
